  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • one/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 whole garlic bulb, smashed and peeled
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • one teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 pounds bone-in chicken thighs or drumsticks
  • one tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 cup water


  • Mix the 1st six ingredients. Add chicken refrigerate, covered, twenty-thirty minutes. Drain, reserving marinade. Pat chicken dry.
  • In a huge skillet, heat oil over medium-substantial heat brown chicken. Stir in water and reserved marinade. Carry to a boil. Decrease heat simmer, uncovered, until finally chicken is no longer pink and sauce is somewhat decreased, 20-25 minutes. If sought after, serve chicken with cooking sauce.

up coming time i will do more chicken, for the up coming day. and i consider i will include far more garlic. i actually enjoy garlic.
