Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • four garlic cloves, sliced
  • 2 lbs fresh green beans
  • one cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • one/two teaspoon salt
  • 1/four teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • In a Dutch oven, heat oil and butter over medium-large heat. Include garlic cook and stir 45-60 seconds or till golden. Making use of a slotted spoon, eliminate garlic from pan reserve. Add green beans to pan cook and stir 4-5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
